EL120P Black Ice

Cone 06 oxidation : Black Ice is a glossy, metallic black glaze. Not dinnerware safe. Cone 6 oxidation : Color remains and develops an iridescent finish. Enhanced mobility. Surface issues may occur. Not dinnerware safe. TIP: This glaze WILL move. Take care when using on vertical pieces reduce glaze thickness towards the bottom third to minimize run-off. Not overglaze compatible. Designed to simulate the aesthetic, movement and interest of mid-range and high fire glazes in a cone 06/05 oxidation kiln firing, Elements give artists a wide variety of options in one product, as glaze application, firing temperature and shape will influence the outcome of finished work. Elements are a two-tone glaze with a main color and a secondary color called a float. When Elements are applied to detail pieces, the float color will appear in the crevices. Application and firing will also affect the outcome of main color or float.
